Hastings Caves - Stalactite cave

These underground caves are believed to have been formed over 40 million years ago, but they weren’t discovered until timber workers were in the area in 1917.

Newdegate Cave is the most famous of the caves and is only one of two dolomite caves in Australia open to the public. During your tour, you will discover spectacular subterranean formations including flowstone, columns, shawls, stalactites and stalagmites.
