Mt Field and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

Mt Field and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

This trip will take us alongside the Derwent River northwards past the famous Cadbury Chocolate Factory and several Derwent Valley vineyards. We go through the hop-growing village Bushy Park. Continuing on, we travel through Westerway, famous for its many different types of berries (available to purchase during berry season).

At Mt Field we explore some of the majestic waterfalls: Horseshoe and Russell Falls. Marvel at the tallest flowering tree in the world, the Eucalyptus Regnan. After a homemade lunch, we will explore Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. You will have the opportunity to get up close to wombats, Tasmanian devils, emus and kangaroos.
